I am more than a divorce coach: I am a wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Recently I moved away from the corporate sector as the NZ manager for an International Medical device company. I wanted to see if I could get a better balance in my life. I have achieved that, but on reflection I knew something was missing. Most of my life I have cared for people, whether that be in my early career as a nurse or later as a people leader in the medical sales arena. I have always enjoyed helping people become successful at what they are doing. It isn’t surprising that I am inspired by driven successful women, because my mother and grandmother were pioneers in their own rights. I also enjoyed being a part of various women’s networks at work and found huge satisfaction in bringing people on the career journey. I realised that although my corporate career was quite high profile, I insisted on keeping a private presence within social media. This continues today, and my clients prefer discretion at all levels. They are high performing people who value their career, and privacy is important to them. Confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail have always been a trademark for me, so you can be assured this is part of your package. My personal journey through divorce was life-changing, and while it was challenging, I wouldn’t do it differently, as it has shaped me into who I am today.
Why I do this:
When I left the corporate world to start a new chapter, I quickly learnt my “why”. I had always enjoyed seeing people become more successful and I missed being a part of their professional and personal development. I was comfortable dealing with conflict, enjoyed effectively communicating at all levels and helped to create strong strategic plans for managers and their teams. So, it was a perfect segue into combining my personal and career experiences, coupled with professional training as a Divorce Coach through the Divorce Coaches AcademyTM in the USA. This has reinforced why professional training as a Divorce Coach is so important to both me and you as a client. To be trusted as a resolution professional at a very critical time in your life is vital. I can help you find the focus you need to navigate this emotional personal pathway. You will create your own mission and action-orientated plans that prioritse your wellbeing, your family needs and aligns with your values.
